Smith & Wesson has announced the release of a new upgraded version of the popular Bodyguard 2.0 pistol — the Performance Center Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp.

The Performance Center model has many of the same features that made the Bodyguard and Bodyguard 2.0 so successful, with the addition of a number of upgrades. The latest in the series now includes blacked-out square notch Ameriglo Protector LumiGreen sights, a new ported barrel designed to divert gas upward to reduce recoil for improved accuracy and control, and a Performance Center gray Armornite finish.

Sig Sauer Launches New P365-LUXE

Sig Sauer has released the P365-LUXE, the latest evolution of its popular micro-compact pistol series. The new model is designed to offer the performance and modularity of the original P365 with improved features for a smoother shooting experience and design for easier concealed carry.

Built around a custom XL AXG grip module for added weight and stability, the new P365-LUXE comes with a flat X-series trigger, custom LOK grip panels, XRAY3 day/night sights, a slide-integrated compensator, and an optics-ready slide.

This modernized 365 model is chambered in .380, comes with three 12-round magazines, and has a Picatinny rail for mounting various lights and lasers.

Smith & Wesson Releases New M&P15 AXE Rifle Series

Smith & Wesson has launched the new M&P15 AXE line of rifles, engineered to deliver a short-barreled rifle platform in a compact design. The AXE is available in four configurations, all chambered in 5.56 NATO.

All four models feature 7075 T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers, ambidextrous controls, a Radian Raptor charging handle, Williams folding sights, an M&P grip with four interchangeable backstraps, and a suppressor optimized GVAC system to minimize blowback while shooting suppressed.

“By pairing the GVAC upper gas system, with the trusted durability of the M&P15 platform, these high-performance rifles become the ultimate suppressor hosts. Available in a variety of configurations, users now have options out of the box, tailored to meet their needs,” Smith & Wesson Product Manager Corey Beaudreau said in a press release.

Beretta Announces Release of A300 Ultima Patrol Chisel Stock

Beretta USA has expanded its tactical shotgun lineup with the introduction of the A300 Ultima Patrol Chisel Stock, an evolution of the A300 platform. This variant features a precision-adjustable stock system designed to enhance control and provide shooter customization.

The Chisel Stock includes a fully adjustable rear stock system with an integrated optic mount using an RMR footprint, adjustable cheek piece, KICK-EEZ recoil pad, adjustable length of pull, two quick-detach sling points, and a Magpul MOE grip for improved ergonomics.

As with all A300 Ultima Patrol models, the Chisel Stock version offers an enlarged loading port, extended bolt release and bolt handle, oversized and reversible safety button, interchangeable front sight post, aggressively textured grip areas, a 7-slot 1913 Picatinny optics mounting rail, three quick-detach mounting points, M-LOK barrel clamp and forend, and loop Velcro for accessory attachment. It is available in both 7+1 and 5+1 capacities.

Ruger Acquires Anderson Manufacturing

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. has completed the purchase of assets from Anderson Manufacturing, a firearms and accessories maker based in Hebron, Kentucky, according to a company press release. The deal includes Anderson’s production facility, equipment, and workforce, which Ruger plans to incorporate into its manufacturing operations.

Located in a region supportive of firearms manufacturing, the Anderson facility brings experience in producing firearms and aftermarket parts that align with Ruger’s product lines. Ruger will not continue the Anderson brand or its existing firearms, but will use the acquired resources to expand its own product offerings and accessories.

Todd Seyfert, Ruger’s president and CEO, said the acquisition will help increase Ruger’s manufacturing capacity and support its growth plans. The company aims to maintain its standards for quality and service while utilizing the new assets to develop new products and enhance its existing lineup.

Smith & Wesson Launches the M&P FPC 22LR

Smith & Wesson introduces the M&P FPC 22LR, a folding pistol carbine chambered in .22 LR. It features a 16.25-inch threaded barrel and an overall length of 30.43 inches, folding down to a compact 16.37 inches for transport.

The handguard includes an upper Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots for accessory mounting. The stock is fixed with a 14.5-inch length of pull and has integrated magazine storage. The folding mechanism includes a locking latch to secure the firearm during transport and to prevent interference with top-mounted optics or accessories. Similar to M&P handguns, the FPC has a compact grip with four interchangeable palmswell inserts and a flat-face trigger with a crisp break and reset. It ships with three 20-round magazines.
